Polish Gamers Observatory initiative co-founders are:

Michał Bobrowski
A passionate enthusiast of the video game market, long-distance travel, and opera music. He began his journey with games during the era of 8-bit computers. From 1995 to 2000, he was involved in the outdoor advertising industry. Since 2001, he has combined his love for virtual entertainment and internet advertising with his work at Webedia Polska SA (formerly GRY-OnLine SA), a company that is the undisputed leader of Polish media dedicated to gaming. From 2011 to 2024, he served as CMO and board member of this company. In June 2024, he took on the role of Joint CEO. He has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences, both domestic and international, including Digital Dragons, Games Connection, ChinaJoy, and Poznań Game Arena. From 2014 to 2015, he was an expert at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, responsible for evaluating applications in programs supporting the creative industries. He is the creator and co-author of all editions of the report ‘The Condition of the Polish Video Game Industry,’ the ‘Warsaw Game Industry 2019/20’ report, and the ‘Polish Gamers Research’ and ‘Polish Gamers Kids’ reports. Over 20 years of continuous work in a very specific part of the video game sector (media) allows him to maintain an equal distance from all the main stakeholders in this sector (game developers and publishers, players, public administration) while continuously monitoring and analyzing the changes within it, as well as formulating critical conclusions and observations that take into account a broader temporal and thematic context.

Patrycja Rodzinska-Szary
Professionally connected with the video game sector for over 12 years. She specialises in the development of business, product (Product Owner) and monetisation of premium and freemium products. She acquired professional experience working, among others, for Ringier Axel Springer Polska/Onet Group as a Product Manager and Head of Paid Product Monetisation Division, Playlink S.A., GRY-Online S.A. Graduate of the Jagiellonian University. Member of the Top Talent programme at the ESMT business school in Berlin.
Author and co-originator of the series of reports entitled “The State of Polish Video Games Industry” and 6 editions of the “Polish Gamers Research”. Co-founder of the non-profit educational initiative “Polish Gamers Observatory”. Speaker at the industry conferences such as Paris Games Week, Game Connection, Mastering the Games, Digital Dragons, Poznań Game Arena, GIC, as well as a university lecturer. A fan of games, travelling and mountains. A happy mum.
